The Special Edition of The Perfect Crime: Concerning the Murder of Reality contains the book in a slipcase, which is screen printed and uniquely handled with glow-in-the-dark UV ink by the artists Jan A. Staiger and Malte Uchtmann. During the day, the ink is charged if exposed to light, which consequently makes the slipcases glow during the night. The concept refers to the use of ultraviolet light at crime scenes, in order to make traces of bodily fluids visible to the naked eye.
